For October 2017 FabSpace 2.0 Darmstadt is engaged in a series of Innovation events you should not miss. Starting on 4th of October with the Internet of Things meets Earth Observeration Half-Hackathon (IoTmeetsEO), the local FabSpace community is asked to develop low cost solutions for flood prevention and merge the two worlds of Rasperry Pi and Earth Observeration. Thanks to our sponsor exp-tech we’re able to give nice prizes. The best solutions will win a raspberry Pi starter kit. More information at: iotmeetseo.fabspace-germany.de.

The next event will be in cooperation with ESA & Merck. Together we’ll organize the Space2Health Hackathon at the innovation center of Merck in Darmstadt starting at 6th of October 2017. You can find more information and the registration here.

Just a few days later we’re proud to have our next Hackathon together with Breeze Technologies, a startup from Hamburg, on 11./12.10.2017. In the “BreezeCleanAir4city” hack it will be all about merging eo and in situ sensors to measure air quality. If you want to learn more about it, let’s have a look at: breezecleanair4city.fabspace-germany.de.

Finally, and not yet 100% confirmed we’re still trying to organize the Climathon in Darmstadt on 27th of October. Stay tuned!

This series of events finally closes our first round of Innovation events before our First Bootcamp in November 2017. We’ll continue with Innovation events in 2018.
